Welcome Croeso!

Welcome / Croeso to These3Streams Festival 2023 - a unique celebration of creativity and community, located at the heart of the beautiful and historic seaside town of Llantwit Major.

It hardly seems possible that a year has gone by since legendary photographer David Hurn took to the stage to share the story of his life behind the camera, documenting the key moments of the twentieth century, from the rise of the Beatles to the devastation of Aberfan.

We can't wait to welcome you to this year's festival. Tickets and information about all the 2023 events are right here!

Friday
The 2023 festival opens with a relaxing evening of entertainment. Ease in to the weekend with poetry with Modron Magazine and street food at the Corner by SITI, or join us to enjoy foot tapping melodies from folk musician Colum Sanson-Regan and his unique blend of traditional and original songs and stories, with additional music from SJ and his band, and Peter Cronin.

Saturday

Saturday is packed with events with something for visitors of all ages and skill levels. The morning gets underway with Gregorian Chanting and Medieval Music, and then weave your way through workshops, watercolour demonstrations, readings, and music.
Wrapping up the day there’s the opportunity to listen to locally born, internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Martyn Joseph in an intimate gig at the beautiful St Illtud’s Church.
New for 2023 we are also very excited about the addition of festival fringe events featuring music, art and poetry. Joining the fun, the Food Festival being hosted by the Town Council will add flavours from Wales and beyond.

Sunday

Sunday is another full day of opportunities to immerse yourself in art, literature and music.
Our Sunday headliners are the award-winning author and broadcaster Horatio Clare who will be discussing his book Heavy Light; National Poet of Wales Hanan Issa who will be performing in the Town Hall; and Kevin Sinnott, discussing his life and work with Professor Tony Curtis. As we draw the festival to a close, wind down with members of the local writing circle hosted by Phil Carradice.
